While living in Costa Rica, I met Norman, a native Tico and fantastic Celtic guitarist. He and I jammed a bit, played a gig, and found time to get together to make this recording. It was great to have Norman play some proper guitar rhythm on this set to make these tunes come to life.
The first tune, Ride the Wild Turkey, is an awesome Darol Anger tune that I rearranged as a jig. After that, it drops into Emily's Jig, a tune I wrote in 2012 while on tour in Ireland after meeting my wife.
